Nikola Davidović selected for Emerging Players Program

19 year-old Nikola Davidović from Sir Oliver CC in Split has been selected by ICC Europe to participate in the Emerging Playing Programme. The week long training camp for emerging players will take place in Spain from March 15th - 20th.
The training academy will take place at La Manga in Southern Spain. Nominations for the Emerging Players Programme were sent in by all European Afiliate and Associate Member countries, and Nikola was selected amongst those young players showing most promise. This is a confirmation of what Nikola has already shown on the field, and we trust that he'll return from the programme in Spain with improved skills and knowledge and the Nikola will continue to perform well for both his club and out National Men's Teams.
Nikola's selection is a great success for the Croatian Cricket Federation also. His inclusion in part is also recognition by ICC Europe of the leaps forward made by the CCF in terms of governance and organisation. With our continued commitment to developing cricketers in Croatia we expect to be able to give many other youngsters similar opportunities in the coming years.
