Introductory Scorers course held in Split

As part of the Croatian Cricket Federations ongoing effort to educate our members with respect to all the intricacies of cricket, the scorers’ course was another step in the right direction. 

Although attendance was less than expected, the participants were given a two hour inter-active presentation on the fine art of scoring. Scoring, as many know is an exact science which requires constant concentration, precision and accuracy. Apart from these characteristics, one also has to know the rules of the game as well as being familiar with the umpires’ signals.
 

During a normal league game, the scorer would on average record 1500 incidences in the score book, which when completed correctly, will let the reader reconstruct the entire match.

The next scorers' course will be held on Vis at the end of May.
